Dakota-Thurston County Fair
Held at the Dakota-Thurston County Fairgrounds. The fair is a wholesome and educational place to build lasting family memories. Featuring a parade, rodeo events, tractor pulls, live animal displays, a carnival, and much more.

This annual homecoming celebration held in late July honors Chief Little Priest and 75 of his Winnebago warriors who served with the US Calvary in 1865.

Siouxland Marathon

Held in mid to late October, The Siouxland Lewis & Clark Marathon is one of the fastest growing races in the country. Typically attracting from 450 to 500 runners from across the US and as far away as Kenya, Iceland, and Ireland. The courses are USATF certified and sanctioned as a qualifier for the Boston Marathon. The scenic course in the fall is a real thrill for the participants.
